Pariah and Brahminy Kites perched on the branch of a tree before they fly and circle foamy waters of a waterway that leads into Bellandur Lake in Bangalore. Pollution regularly causes the Bellandur Lake to froth so heavily that the foam is seen on nearby roads. Detergent foam covers the surface of the water in a disgraceful state of affairs in terms of India's management of liquid waste and water resources, especially here in the tech capital of India, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The epitome of water pollution in India, and a very visual and telling image of the state of affairs of India in the 2020 region.
