Indian politician Chandra Shekhar speaks about Jayaprakash Narayan. He says "I remember many things but I must correct one thing in the very beginning. The movement was not initiated by Jaiprakash Narayan. The movement was first initiated first in Gujarat by students and it caught up in Bihar also at one stage the repressing majors were taken by the government, J. P associated himself with that movement. In the early stages, J. P. went to many places in this country and I remember one incident when he was going to Haryana the day he has to proceed for Haryana a message was conveyed to the people who have organized that rally. At that time Bansi Lal Ji was Chief Minister and he was a very good friend of mine. I rang up Bansi Lal Ji and I said that he should not enter into this misadventure
