Rajiv Rai says "I think musically we have hung on to what was there, everybody is very insecure of taking music out of the films. Everybody hangs onto to putting the four songs or six songs because the general feeling amongst filmmakers is that you know you do a film without music, it's not gonna run." Rajiv Rai is an Indian film writer, editor and a director born in the year 1955 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Rai is the son of the producer, Gulshan Rai . Rai made his debut as a director with “Yudh” (1985). He has directed and written several Hindi films like Tridev (1989), Vishwatma (1992), Mohra (1994), and Gupt (1997).
