Rajiv Rai says "Well you know I actually started very young with films because my father was in the business since I think the early 1950s maybe 1950-51 and my father came to Bombay in 1947 and I was born in 55 so I am 47, I am going to 47 in July soon. I think I first went to the studio as I can recall when I was four-years-old and I saw the lights and the cameras. It was a way of life because my father was a distributor and the film business was very exciting back then. I mean in the black and white days, my God it was really throbbing. It was very professional, the number of films I am not sure but it was not that high."
