What a fun vignette of life on the highways of India during the rainy season! Heavy rains have triggered flash floods in at least four villages of Leh district in Jammu and Kashmir. However, no casualties have been reported so far. In a span of 48 hours Leh district has recorded 24.6 mm of rain. According to Meteorology Division in India, a fresh Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir which has caused the rainfall activity over the district.
