The need of the hour in India is of clean drinking water so if this sewage and waste water treatment plant (STP) can actually turn unusable water into a usable and thus valuable resource, this then is the sort of solution India needs multiple installations of, in order to provide water for the masses, for washing, for gardens, drinking, industry and a whole lot else... Each day, 2.9 billion liters of waste water from sewage, domestic and industrial sources are dumped directly into Ganga. This is wreaking havoc on Ganga’s natural ecosystem, and in many places along her stretches, fish and aquatic creatures are dying.
