Sonia Vihar water treatment plant in New Delhi. The water treatment plant has 3 pre-settling tanks which are used for raw water with high turbidity during the monsoons. spread over 35 acres of reclaimed land, is completely computerized. It has extremely low water losses less than 1.5% as compared to traditional water treatment plants which have 8-10% of losses. The treatment process starts with the pre-settling process. In this, visible impurities will be removed. From here, the water will go through pulsator clarifiers. Most of the impurities will be cleared.
