A Common Grass Yellow or Eurema hecaben butterfly sitting on a sunflower. These butterflies are common in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. It is one of the most common butterflies in India. Commonly seen on flowers or damp patches. They are known to migrate in large numbers and they lay their eggs singly.
