In the rocky escarpments of the Aravallis in the millions of years old rocks near Bagheera's Camp in Jawai, this leopard has spent its day in a rock cave high above the agricultural fields above the Jawai dam, built by the grand-father of the owner of Bagheera's Camp. The leopard has kept a sleepy vigil on animal movements in the fields below, but now the setting sun signals the time for it to awake and prowl around for the night, in the hope of making a kill and feeding off it for the rest of the week.
