VP Singh was born on June 25th, 1931, in Allahabad, to the younger wife of the Raja of Dahiya. When he was 5, he was given in adoption. He was a lonely child brought up by a Scottish couple. He was constantly surrounded by armed guards, and when to Col. Brown's school in Dehra dun. he married Sita Kumari from Rajasthan. Ajay and Abhay were his two sons. "I am a loner", he says, or the Czar of the north block! Each resignation always catapulted him into greater success. He was the Defence Minister of India.
