Macaques are the largest reason for water tanks getting damaged in India. They break the lids and get inside to drink and bathe, often getting trapped and drowned in the water. A solo Macaque is seen sitting on top of a tall water tank near the busy Moti Bagh Highway. Restless under the gloomy monsoon clouds. Macaques are quite common in Indian urban areas. They are found in huge numbers outside temples and residential areas on the tall trees on the highways. There have been instances of Macaque groups going after humans while in search of food or snatching food from the hands of children and even adults.
