This is one of the cultural vignettes and practices of the Mizo previous dating back to previous times. When someone passes away in another village, they use bring him back to his own village and at the border, the village people from the village where he belongs try to take him to their own village but the other side doesn't allow them to bring him home.They want to drop him to his home because this is one of the most important character and cultural traits for a fallen warrior to come home, in Mizoram.They want to help their fellow villagers.
