Multiple fishermen can be seen operating 5–6 small wooden boats, actively throwing fishing nets into the river while thick toxic froth floats on the water’s surface. The foam, commonly associated with untreated sewage, industrial effluents, and excessive phosphates, highlights the severe pollution affecting this vital river ecosystem. Despite these hazardous conditions, fishing continues as a means of survival.
