A two-headed calf has stunned locals in an Indian village after it defied the odds to survive for over a month. The calf, yet to be named, was born on August 10 in Navalur village in Thanjavur in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The newborn sports two faces that appear to be attached at the skull. Although the calf has one body, it has two heads with a total of three eyes, two snouts but only a pair of ears and a single mouth. The calf is healthy and is fed milk five-times a day with a bottle. A lot of people are visiting Sanglimuthu’s house every day to see the “miraculous” calf.
