Some tracts have been destroyed by neighbouring villagers while others have been cleverly concealer among cabbage and cauliflower cultivation in the hills around Ukhru. The lovely purple and white blooms of the afeem poppies nod in the breeze. The mature green seed pods are tapped for the illicit substance.
