Construction of the Delhi - Meerut Metro is in full swing and once completed, it will change the fortunes of the almost forgotten city of Meerut and bring it into new-age relevance to India, as a major manufacturing hub that it already is, and essentially integrate it into the Delhi NCR region. Access has already improved greatly with the new Meerut-Delhi expressway which opened in April 2021. This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest HD and 4K collection from South Asia.
