Our cameramen were given access to film inside a manufacturing unit of a sports goods factory in Meerut where sporting gear is made in bulk. The Corona Pandemic has not stopped people from playing sports and specially cricket in India. A closer look at how batting gloves used by cricketers are made from scratch with hands and barely any machinery. The foam stuffing on the gloves for protective covering is stuffed inside the fabric with only hands. The precision of the workers in cutting the foam to stuff the gloves is impeccable.
