Ken River Lodge, Panna

Ken River Lodge was established in 1986. Shyamendra Singh (known among his friends as Vinni Raja!) of Nagodh and Bhavna Kumari of Jubbal started the lodge as they had a driving passion for wildlife and conservation. The camp has been washed out in the floods of 1992 and 2007 but was again built.The lodge is set in a natural forest built with natural materials. Huts and cottages are spread out over 50 acres, giving the experience of a real outdoor wilderness setting. It also has a uniquely large and homely tree house, around which are centered the evenings at the camp, often over a bonfire and a drink in hand!
