Kailash Kher: I really like songs about instant love, and for that, both Sufi and folk styles can be used. Sufi music represents purity and love, and that is the kind of music I enjoy. Songs from the past had their own identity, and even today’s songs hold equal importance in my view. The world has changed—earlier, there were fewer people and fewer problems. Thinking and understanding were clearer because the environment was cleaner. Now the population has increased, states have been divided, and pollution has also grown significantly. So everything has developed, but when something good grows, something negative also grows along with it.
