Hygiene obviously takes a very poor back seat in this part of rural India where the woman sits on the ground and cuts her fish fillets, with thousands of flies swarming around her. The fish is charged for, the flies are for free. She washes her hands in the same bowl in which she washes her fish. The fish are laid out on the ground, with just a dirty sheet separating them from the mud and filth around her. Rural India at her worst...?
