Cows encroach upon forest land, with a village woman in tow. The cattle graze and destroy the younger plants and trees, exposing the top soil to erosion during the rains. The famous Dhobigat below Landour and Mussoorie is run by the Kanojia family, en route Chamasari village and Motidhar village. The detergent laced water is released into the two virgin streams that become the Song / Suswa and Bindal / Rispana and totally fouls up the same, making it unfit for fish and other aquatic biota.
