Dead Indian one-horned Rhinoceros in the jungles of Assam, decaying with maggots, after a poacher killed it. Forest department personnel cut the bushes and shrubbery around the dead rhino, in an effort to get better access to it. the horn seems to have been cut off by poachers and is missing. The rhino's penis is leaking urine onto its rear leg. It is a gigantic effort to push the rhino to one side - something that is accomplished by a half dozen forest department staffers. An empty shell that was shot from a poacher's gun is found nearby. The hole where the horn was taken out from is also visible. So this is clearly a poached rhino that was killed for its horn! To qu
