Bishnoi religion was founded by great visionary Saint Guru Jambheshwar Ji in year 1485AD(Vikram Samwat 1542, Kartik month, Krishna 8th) on SAMRATHAL DHORA ( Sand Dune ) near Nokha in Bikaner District of Rajasthan (India).
