As the low pressure moved upwards from Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema received heavy rains. Normal life was disrupted and streets filled with water as the north-east monsoon was especially fierce over Rayalaseema. A report in The Hindu states that meteorological authorities said that Sullurpeta in Nellore received 26 cm rainfall, Tada 25 cm, Venkatagiri 17 cm, Gudur 16cm, Atmakur 16cm, Kavali 11 cm, Nellore 11 cm, Avanigadda in Krishna recorded 2 cm, Ongole 1 cm and Bapatla 1 cm. In Rayalaseema region, Tirupati recorded 22 cm, Thottambedu, Chittoor 22 cm, Puttur 20 cm, Satyavedu 20 cm, Kodur in Kadapa 17 cm, Srikalahasti 15 cm, Palasamudram 15 cm, Nagari 13 cm and Ananthrajpeta in Kadapa 11 cm. In Nellore district and Chittoor District, many roads that connected v
