On our food trail to Jama Masjid market, this Ramadan, we explored the bazaar streets over various kinds of gastronomically delighting exhibits from curries to sweets. Watch, as we roam and cover the streets of Matia Mahal and experience local Mughlai cuisine in the making, up close that too in HD slow motion, as a boy tosses the dough to prepare roomali roti - a thinner version of bread made from wheat flour. And the famous corner of Al-Jawahar restaurant bustles with customers and waiters even as cooks prepare the 'tandoori naan' or hard version of the Mughlai bread or 'roti' - which unlike the 'rumali roti' cooked on an inverted tawa - is put inside a cylindrical furnace or 'tandoor' to cook.
