Special Malai lassi at Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. Lassi is very popular summer drink in North India. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes and very easy to make. Ingredients used in preparing lassi is, Cream, Yogurt, Sugar, Salt and Water. Put all ingredients in blender and blend till smooth and the sugar dissolvesa, add a layer of thick cream (Malai) as garnish and serve chilled. In Chandni Chowk lassi is served in Kulhads. Parathe Wali Gali is a name of a narrow street in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi. The street is famous for its series of shops selling paratha.
