A decrease in the cost of Mustard in international market disappointed Indian farmers. Officials have discussed this problem at All India Seminar on Rabi Oil Seed Corps in New Delhi which took place in 1999. "The cost of Mustard and Mustard oil can be decreased more if the government couldn't take any serious step on this issue." According to Mustard Oil industrialist that government should adopt dual import system in which during the season of Indian crops the import rate is less. "We have already asked the government to regulate the import duty so that during Kharif and Rabi season the duty should be charged less."
