Oil industry faces the loss because of the increase in the cost of crude oil in international market. The Oil Coordination Committee has not paid to Indian Oil for August. The loss of Oil industry in India in September 1997 was Rs. 18,200 crore then the Government of India has issued oil bonds worth Rs. 12,982 to government oil companies in February 1998. Indian Oil is the only company to import crude oil in India.
