Swift flows the Bhagirathi Ganga! Vehicles struggle to reach Uttarkashi, over landslides and broken roads. One can see the swollen banks of the river, with land that has eroded almost up to houses on the embankments. Mud and rock still roll down the infirm hills and bulldozers constantly repair the roads to ensure connectivity so that relief work and supplies keep passing through. 28th June 2013, post flood, cloud burst and torrential rains.
