The Turtuk Traditional House and Museum displays local Ladakhi heritage through preserved artefacts and architectural features. Visitors can see traditional stone-and-wood houses with flat roofs, intricately carved wooden furniture, and household items such as storage chests, cooking utensils, and woven baskets. The museum also exhibits traditional clothing, jewellery, and religious artefacts, including prayer flags, thangkas, and butter lamps. Photographs and tools used in agriculture and daily life illustrate the lifestyle of the Turtuk village community. The museum provides insight into the customs, architecture, and everyday practices of the Ladakhi people.
