A lovely establishing shot of the Talkatora indoor stadium facilities in New Delhi. Summer-time yellow flowering Amaltash or Laburnum trees can be seen along the avenues. In the distance can be seen the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House complexes. Talkatora Indoor Stadium is an indoor stadium located in New Delhi, India. The stadium has a capacity of 3035 people. The stadium is owned and managed by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). It is named after a Mughal-era garden, known as Talkatora Gardens. A tal (tank) situated at the west side of the garden, is surrounded by hilly ground (part of the Delhi ridge, forms a katora, bowl-shaped natural depression), which gives the place its name.
