Perunthenaruvi Waterfall is a picturesque waterfall that cascades in Perunthenaruvi, 15 km from Pathanamthitta in Pathanamthitta District, Central Travancore region, Kerala State, India. It is a popular tourist destination known for their wide area, rather than their height. The stream later unites with the Pamba River. Great many bees, settled in the adjacent woods, have transformed here to a Kingdom of beehives. Hence it came to be known as "Perunthenaruvi" which means "the great stream of honey". The name aptly suits the place as Perunthenaruvi is a hotspot for its waterfalls and attracts many globe-trotters. Perunthenaruvi waterfall is located in the dense Sabarimala forest area, just 10 kilometres away from Erumeli, the renowned set off point for Sabarimala Pilgrimage. At Perumthenar
