Delhi Poice jail van / bus in which undertrials go to court, for their hearings... Women prisoners being taken to court within the Delhi Police bus/jail van. The largest compound of prisons in South Asia, Tihar Jail is also known as Tihar and has a brand of their own by the name of TJ's! It is located around 7 km away from Chanakya Puri, west of New Delhi, India at Tihar village. The nearby area is called Hari Nagar. It is not just a prison but also a Correctional Institution. Its main objective is to provide useful skills, and educate the inhabitants so as to make them normal members of society. The prison is meant to strengthen the inmates' desire to improve by boosting their self esteem. The inmates also manufacture products under the brand name of Tihar or TJ's. It was run by the Stat
