Sewage diving in the Indian summer heat. Talk of an extreme of human rights violation for these poor men... First they heave off the cement cover to the sewage drain below. Then they dig around in the muck, and then one of them has to get inside the drain, exposing himself to potential gases and other toxins and poisons. Not only is it underpaid work, but it is degrading, dangerous and downright inhuman. How long must we treat our fellow Indians in this fashion? While fellow Delhi citizens drive by in air conditioned comfort, these men must dig into THEIR crap and bathroom waste to clear the drains before the monsoons hit Delhi...
