Crocodile strays into home in Lakhimpur, India

In an unusual incident, a crocodile strayed into home possibly from the nearby river forcing family members to flee to safety in Bhairampur area under Nighasan tehsil on Wednesday. The family members were alerted from slumber after crocodile slipped into home and starting making noises in the dark of the night. The house owner lit the torch to know what is happening and was shocked to see the animal. The other members ran for safety from the wild animals and a large crowd gathered outside the home to see the crocodile. The forest department team arrived in the morning to take hold of the animal. After a harrowing time, the team managed to grab the crocodile. The crocodile was later released into the Joraha river. Source : news18.com This footage is part of the professionally-shot broadcast
