Heavy rains have threatened old buildings and residences in Mount Abu in Rajasthan, India. Hill station Mount Abu received the highest 450 mm rainfall in the state on Monday. It was also the highest rainfall in Mount Abu in the last 23 years. Meanwhile, heavy showers continued to lash most parts of the state. The meteorological office has further predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours. The momentum of the south-west monsoon will continue across the state for the next couple of days. Mount Abu witnessed a day-long rainfall and till the evening, it recorded 450 mm rainfall.
