These cute furry black balls of softness scamper around confidently in their pond habitat. The White-breasted Waterhen has birthed these chicks after their eggs just hatched in the Delhi summer, in their nest that was made among water plants in a pond. The mother is reaching them peck response, to collect insects and other feed near their pond habitat. The mother and chicks are also pecking at grasses, weeds and water plants around them.
