Saat Phere (Saptapadi) ceremony during a Hindu wedding, one of the most significant marriage rituals performed before the sacred fire (Agni). The bride, dressed in a red bridal lehenga with an embroidered veil, and the groom in a traditional sherwani and pagri, walk around the Havan Kund while their garments are ceremonially tied together, symbolising their marital bond. A Hindu priest conducts the ceremony by chanting Vedic mantras and guiding the couple through the wedding rituals. The Saptapadi consists of seven circumambulations around the sacred fire, with each round representing a vow related to mutual support, prosperity, health, family responsibilities, trust, and lifelong companionship.
