Beautiful young Mizo girl with her powerful voice sings Blue Bayou song in Anthurium festival in Mizoram. While she sings, audience enjoys and offer her Anthurium flower which she accepts with smile. Anthurium is a genus of herbs often growing as epiphytes on other plants. The leaves are often clustered and are variable in shape. The inflorescence bears small flowers which are perfect containing male and female structures. The Anthurium Festival is a 3 day long event organised every year in September by the State govt. of Mizoram with an aim to promote tourism in the state and also encourage Anthurium cultivation in Mizoram.
