Rugged mountains covered in white snow, a lone Red Fox treads on the fresh snow and seem alert. These are solitary hunters and found nearer to homes as well. Their diet is mainly carnivorous but flexible to environmental conditions and availability. But not everyone has seen this fox with bushy tail in the white snow in Spiti. This Red Fox has been filmed scouting alone in the cold with a healthy bushy tail. The fox takes a dump and shifts to another location and continues excreting fecal matter. On a closer look, this fox has something in its neck that looks like a tracking collar. Tracking collars are used to detect movement and behavior, for conservation of a species.
