Aerial views of a snow-covered Nako Village in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh in winter. At an altitude of 11,893 feet or 3,625 meters above sea level, this village lies near the Indo-China border in Kinnaur district. The stepped cultivation looks all the more pronounced with snow covering the fields and the walls of the pushtas or steps are bare or bereft of snow, so they look black. The white-black contrast is stark and lovely! This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest HD and 4K collection from South Asia.
