Life is tough, for 56-year-old, a selfless mother Pratima Devi, who lives in a parking lot in the national capital and earns a living as a ragpicker. Yet, she's doing her bit to help street dogs. 61-year-old Pratima Devi, looks after over 400 dogs - about 200 around her home in a shanty in south Delhi. Adjacent to the PVR Anupam miltiplex in south Delhi's Saket neighbourhood stands a tin shack on wooden slabs and decorated with a few torn rugs. In and around this shanty, stray dogs can be seen walking around like disciples of a holy saint. The shanty belongs to Pratima Devi, who looks older than her 61 years.
