Chekiye Women Cultural Group, Dimapur presenting a folk song 'Ayekuzule', a song of weaving cotton during Hornbill Festival in Nagaland. Ayekuzule - In olden times if the soil was suitable women sold cotton, harvested it and produced colourful clothes for the family. The process of weaving cotton was taught by the older women to the younger ones. While engaged in this work women sang the song 'Ayekuzule' which means the process that needs to produce one's own clothes. Nagaland, 'The Land of Festivals' and the warm Naga people, lies in the North Eastern part of India. Historically, the Nagas are known as headhunters and have always been brave warriors.
