A group of artists is performing a nukkad natak on road safety in Chhattarpur, New Delhi. The performers form a circle and act out a scene in which several people are shown riding motorcycles recklessly before one of them meets with an accident. The play then focuses on the reluctance of bystanders to take the injured person to a hospital, with the characters giving different reasons for not helping. The performance highlights the problems faced by accident victims when people hesitate to provide immediate assistance. Young people, children and older members of the public can be seen watching the street play under a large tent.
