A folk dance of Lotha tribe of Nagaland presented during Hornbill Festival at Kisama Heritage Village, Nagaland. This dance is performed at the dedication of a new morung (hut). After the chief priest performs the ceremonial rites, all the morung boys led by the morung leader performs this dance conveying the message to the entire village to safeguard the village from all dangers. The Lothas are known are well-known for their colourful dances and folk songs. The male members of the Lotha tribe wear shawls to indicate their socila status. Tokhu Emong, the festival of the Llothas means 'resting before feasting', hence the post harvest break from fieldwork, a festival timed with the blooming of the Blue Vanda.
