Thimphu has some beautiful garden and hot-house flowers and spring is perhaps one of the most beautiful seasons, when flowers bloom and the stringent cold subsides. In the spring, between March and June, there are many flowers and animals to look for. The city features a southwest monsoon-influenced subtropical highland climate of a warm, temperate climate. The southwest monsoon rainfall occurs during mid-June to September. In this clip, you see Oriental Lilies (Lilium), Begonias, purple and red double Fuchsias, Honeysuckle and Pansies.
