For those who live in Calcutta, the creative tradition is focused and shaped to some extent by the Adda an informal get together. Groups discussing ostensibly serious gossip or even light chatter. Many of Calcutta citizens justify this great pastime and claim it as responsible for inspiration and cross-fertilization of ideas.
