Indian Grey Hornbill male feeds female while scouting for nesting trunk, in Delhi

The Delhi summer is back and these individuals of the Indian Grey Hornbill or Ocyceros birostris are feeling the heat. While sitting on a barren branch the male can be spotted feeding the female. A little further away,a Common Myna is seated at the entrance of the hollow of a tree trunk which is also a potential besting ground for these hornbills. Notice the open beak of the Hornbills which are a way of releasing their body heat in hot weather.
