An artisan preparing traditional insulated clay tandoors at a roadside pottery and garden market in India. The craftsman removes protective newspaper wrapping, pours water over the clay surface, and adjusts the heavy rims while inspecting the ovens before display. The barrel-shaped tandoors are reinforced with insulating outer layers and secured with rubber straps for transport. Surrounding the workspace are numerous handmade terracotta planter pots (gamlas) in various sizes, highlighting the diverse pottery products created and sold at the market.
