Padmaja Rathore of the Jodhpur family wears her tourism mantle with great seriousness. So when she comes across trashed beer bottles or plastic packets in her beloved Jawai landscape, she collects them in her classic trademark 1940's Ford Jeep, as she travels the open Masai Mara-esque plains of Rajasthan, India. Padmaja Rathore has been overseeing and cleaning up the Jawai region for 16 years now, as a personal environmental commitment, the mission is to rewild Jawai Bandh and related areas.
